"Ma'am, you have a potential to become a successful businesswoman because you are prudently saving your money. Your carreer is okay. You will have long life but your husband will die early. You are going to be a widow at an early age. You'll gonna marry twice. You'll gonna marry an old man.Your in-laws will be a barriers in your life/relationship." Apparently, I am fascinated by the way her mind worked. Some of her statements were quite believable. Her words itself could skillfully manipulate everyone. The moment she left the office, I immediately search via google anything about palm reading. And guess what??? The google and fortune teller results did match... That fortune teller brought some chaos
in my mind. Am I really destined to have a complete disastrous lovelife? I think If i will inure myself with such predictions, I will lose myself along the way. On the other hand, I know I can always alter the line of my destiny by making right choice and right decisions. I will take control of my destiny but it doesn't mean that whatever I set out to do will succeed. Rather, I mean that I won't just sit back and take whatever comes without exerting much effort.
What does the Bible say about fortune telling?
In Deuteronomy 18:9-13, the Bible says When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spirits or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the LORD your God.
